Javy’s mission is simple: help people live stronger, healthier, and longer lives. His vision for EastieFit is to become a staple of East Boston, a place where fitness becomes part of the community’s culture and everyday life.
At 16, I fell in love with fitness while lifting weights with my dad. It wasn’t just about strength—it was about bonding, pushing myself, and feeling confident. That’s when I knew I wanted to open a gym where others could experience that same transformation. fitness should be accessible, encouraging, and empowering. Owner Javy Caraballo, originally from Toa Baja / Levittown, Puerto Rico, started his journey as a young athlete lifting weights with his father. He always dreamed of opening a gym—not just a place to work out, but a space where people could train hard, connect deeply, and build confidence for life.
In 2012, Javy co-founded CrossFit on the Hill in Roxbury, MA, and a year later helped launch CrossFit Jeffries Point (now EastieFit) in East Boston. In 2016, he became the sole owner of EastieFit, and from that moment, the vision became clear—to create a strength and conditioning facility that builds not just stronger bodies, but stronger communities.
