At EastieFit, we love celebrating our athletes' hard work, dedication, and personal victories. Our EastieFit All-Starsseries highlights members who embody our values of connection, resilience, humility, and consistency.
Meet our first All-Star, Amanda Tritto—a teacher, a mom of four, and a dedicated athlete who proves that commitment and community can transform fitness into a lifelong journey.
Amanda joined EastieFit in February 2024, looking for a gym that was close to home and could help her stay consistent. Living just a minute away, she took the leap—and found much more than a gym.
"I love to exercise, but I really thrive on being part of a community where we go through it together. I’ve tried working out on my own, but I’m never successful at home or in a regular gym. On days when I feel tired, it helps to know that there will be other people going through it with me and a coach who knows me, guiding me through everything."
Her decision to join wasn’t just about fitness—it was about connection. Raised in East Boston, Amanda has built her life here. She teaches, plays sports, and raises her family in the same city she loves. When her friend Theresa recommended EastieFit, it made sense to train in the community that means so much to her.
"I absolutely love the camaraderie and community that each class has."
Since joining, Amanda has pushed herself beyond what she thought was possible.
💪 Strength Milestones: She’s been working on her deadlift and recently hit a 229 lb 1-rep max—an incredible victory after failing 226 lbs just one month before!
🏋️ Gymnastics Wins: "This past Saturday, with Cristian’s help, I got my first toes-to-bar! I never thought I’d be able to do it, so it was an amazing feeling."
Amanda’s progress is a testament to hard work, consistency, and the power of coaching and community.
While training comes naturally to Amanda, she’s been focusing more on nutrition and fueling her body properly.
🍗 Dialing in Nutrition: She’s been hitting 115-130g of protein daily while maintaining a 1,900-calorie intake—and in just 8 weeks, she’s lost 10 pounds!
🥗 Sustainable Approach: "I love food, so crash diets or eliminating food groups never work for me. Focusing on protein and portion sizes might be my magic combination!"
As a mom of four, Amanda jokes that she’ll never master the "Sleep" component of Eat, Train, Sleep, but she’s proving that consistency in nutrition and training pays off!
Amanda is proof that the more you stick to it, the easier it becomes.
"I see people my age who have a lot of trouble moving around, and it makes me so appreciative that I have a body that can move and move well. I don’t want to lose that, so I know I need to stay consistent!"
Her advice? “When you take care of yourself, it makes it easier to take care of and help others.”
🏋️ Favorite Class: "I love all the coaches and classes, but the 4:15 PM classes with all the teachers hold a special place in my heart!"
💙 Favorite Part of EastieFit: The coaches and community.
"Thank you to all the coaches for always making sure I push myself, even on days I don’t want to. Without all of your support, I would really slack off!"
🤝 Biggest Takeaway: "CrossFit sounds intimidating—I know I was nervous to try it—but at the end of the day, everyone is just there to better themselves. You can go at your own pace without worrying about keeping up, which is so nice!"
"We are a stereotypical Millennial Disney family. If you ever need tips about Disney World, feel free to ask me!"
Amanda embodies everything EastieFit stands for—commitment, resilience, and community. She’s living proof that showing up consistently, pushing your limits, and fueling your body properly can lead to incredible results.
We’re proud to have Amanda as part of the EastieFit All-Stars, and we can’t wait to see her continue to crush goals in the gym and beyond! 🚀

Honestly, I was thinking it was going to be like the other CrossFit boxes I had been to before CJP. I thought I wasn’t going to last and that my first class was going to be a try out. I was surprised by how much commitment and effort the coaches put into each of us to make us better, a month try out turned out to be 3 years of continuous work. What started as a couple days a week turned out to be a life time commitment.
I was brought to CrossFit because of the functionality it provides for every challenge life versus just bodybuilding or power lifting. CrossFit forces you to break through mental barriers and past what you thought you physical or mental limit was.
We have something at CJP that I see and appreciate at every CrossFit gym I’ve ever vistied: a community of capable, caring judges and athletes of all shapes and sizes united under one goal of helping each other to get as fit as possible. That was my expectation when I showed up here on Day One (June 2015), and that perception hasn’t changed at all in the four years since.
